Little Man's Budget Bathroom Makeover

Who...WHO pulls down wallpaper without any premeditation...


But then I have been staring at the peeling edges of the floral wallpaper in our hall bathroom for months now...


Our master bathroom just got a budget makeover - debut to come! - and the hall bathroom is the remnant of the 50-year-old home we purchased from two elder women and at least one cat...floral wallpaper and salmon-colored shower tile.

The last of the wallpaper comes down this week and I will be posting photos of our 'blank canvas.'  We need your creative genius.





Little Man is almost 11 months old, and without spending a lot of money OR going to such an extreme that we scare off a potential buyer should we ever decide to sell, I would love to create a few spaces that spark his imagination and allow him to enjoy his boyhood.  


I also have to keep in mind that any guests we have will be using Little Man's bathroom. 


The bathtub, and the placement of both the toilet and vanity are permanent - for now.

I'm betting you don't mix your own line of paint or manufacture products, and that you may submit existing paint colors and products, but we ask that the 'big picture' or our completed room is original.  


Please credit all non-original product photos.


I covet a long list of fantastic products available outside of the U.S. but for this project, for existing products please link us to an original site where we can purchase the product and ship it from within the U.S. or from Canada.


Please don't make me request any price quotes.


The specific name and brand of a paint color is appreciated - please don't make me flip through hundreds of color chips at the hardware store.


For non-existing products please include a how-to (or a link to one).
