Little Man won a Lego® gift card to spend at the LEGO® shop with his post about one of our favorite activities - LITTLE MAN BOWLING - in the BlogHer Duplo® Sweepstakes.
This winter he inherited a blue, thick 'cuddlesuit' to keep him warm when we go out, but in it he can't crawl on our hardwood floors. His knees slip out from under him and he ends up flat on his belly, defeated.
To cheer him up one afternoon before going out I turned him over onto his back, pulled up his hood - pulling the hood up around his head and covering his hands protects his skin from the floor - took hold of his suit with both hands, and counted to 3. On "3" I pushed him forward, sending him sliding across the floor laughing.
Of course, he flops and spins in place without someone to turn him over but as soon as he's up he wants to 'bowl' again!
For the faint of heart, we always 'bowl' in an open area, clear of any furniture or toys.
